Design, Metrics, Accessibility
When I first became interested in Web Design it was because of its potential as a new art medium. Which might sound somewhat naive, nevertheless it was true. But the web has changed vastly since then and now we are awed by the power of Metrics combined with User Research, Predictive Analytics, Human Factors, Psychology, and finally Design.
Accessibility is also becoming a much more important factor for UX, Design, and structural considerations. I’m interested in it because it seems inherently good to expand the scope of how we understand the physical perception of our message. And on a basic organizational level, it works wonderfully as a part of a guiding set of principles.
